Luau your way! Pick your island-inspired project at Ben Franklin PTO’s fundraiser night.
Saturday, November 17, 2018
6:00 – 9:00PM, Crafting starts at 7:00
How it works:
When you book your ticket, pick your project: A wood panel canvas that will become tropical art, or a set of ceramic coaster perfect for holding pina coladas.
Project Option 1: Tropical Art Panel
For the Tropical Art Panel project, you have the freedom to paint the islandy-scene of your dreams. We provide tons of inspiration, instructions for achieving tropical-inspired designs, and even stencils to make luau art easy peasy. You will be painting with colorful and metallic acrylics. Several design ideas are provided, including stencils and templates that you can mix and match. Or, bring your own ideas! A design that fits within a 12″x12″ area is recommended.
Stencil options include: Pineapple, Monstera Leaf, Flip Flops, Anchor and Hibiscus Flower
Project Option 2: Luau Coaster Set
Luau Coaster-makers will receive a set of 4 blank ceramic coasters for you to decorate for your next party. You will use acrylic paints to stencil or freehand paint your designs. Several design ideas are provided, including stencils and templates that you can mix and match. Or, bring your own ideas! A design that fits within a 4″x4″ area is recommended. We will finish off the coasters by attaching anti-scratch bottoms.
Stencil options include: Tropical leaves, Flowers and Surf Board shapes.
We bring everything you need, wood panels or coasters, acrylic paints, design ideas and easy to follow instructions.
Paint may damage clothing, dress in something appropriate for crafting.
